Disney World expands services to help capture your vacation

Capture Your Moment

Way back in February 2020, Disney introduced Capture Your Moment, a personalized 20-minute photo session in the Magic Kingdom. Over the years the service expanded to the other Disney World theme parks.

Specifically in the Magic Kingdom Park, Capture Your Moment photo sessions have been limited to Main Street, U.S.A. and around Cinderella Castle. Now, Disney introduces a second Capture Your Moment experience at Magic Kingdom Park in Fantasyland!

An enchanted land where fairy tales come true would be the perfect place to capture milestones, family portraits, and dreamy photos.

Locations and Booking Information

Beginning May 1, you can escape into the timeless stories of Fantasyland and explore charming photo backdrop options. After checking in for this experience inside Sir Mickey’s, your photographer can help you choose a photo prop and your capture locations.

Options may include the back of Cinderella Castle, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, Rapunzel’s tower, Prince Eric’s castle, Storybook Circus, Belle and Maurice’s cottage, outside Beast’s castle, around the Mad Tea Party, and so much more.

While you’re guaranteed one photo location per session, most sessions end up visiting a few locations to take photos. After being escorted to your chosen location, you’ll have up to 20 minutes to capture photos.

You may even be able to visit a location beyond Fantasyland to capture photos, such as the Haunted Mansion or other spots in Liberty Square. Ask your photographer about available options and how long you’d have to capture photos at these locations.

Beginning April 24, you can book a session online. Bookings can be made up to 60 days in advance, and advance reservations are strongly recommended. Additionally, a limited number of same-day reservations may be available, so check the MDE app.
