Closures at Downtown Disney
Earlier this year we shared that La Brae Bakery was permanently closing its doors. This bakery had been part of Downtown Disney for 20 years!
Many were sad to see this beloved bakery go. Read more about that closure HERE.
However, with this closure did make way for another fan favorite restaurant. Earl of Sandwich made its way to Downtown Disney! Read about that announcement HERE.
Sprinkles
Sprinkles is a cupcake bakery that has locations all over the country, but also had locations in Disneyland and Disney World. In Disneyland you would find it in Downtown Disney, and in Disney World it is located in Disney Springs.
Disney’s website describes Sprinkles as, “Treat yourself to sought-after, gourmet cupcakes baked fresh daily with unique flavors and high-quality ingredients.”
One of Sprinkles’ Disney locations has closed its doors FOREVER.
Sprinkles Closure
Sprinkles’ Downtown Disney location in Disneyland has now closed its doors permanently! Disney had announced that Paseo and Centrico would come to this location. Disney and Sprinkles has updated their websites that this location is no longer in operation.
Almost a year ago, Disney shared that “Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gayton will bring his inclusive vision of Mexican cuisine to Paseo and Centrico in the locations currently occupied by Catal & Uva Bar, brought to life by Patina Restaurant Group.”
Sprinkles’ location at Downtown Disney is permanently closed.
At this time there is no opening date for Paseo and Centrico.
