Updated Look for Mickey and His Pals at EPCOT

Mickey and his pals now greet guests at EPCOT with an updated look. What do you think of this change?

Character Meet and Greets

Meeting characters is one of the true parts of a Disney World vacation that make it unique. No Disney World vacation would feel quite the same without seeing all of the fun characters.

At times, guests can enjoy rare characters for a limited time such as during Earth Day celebrations and for runDisney events. Earlier we shared a new meet and greet with Ariel from the new live-action film debuting soon.

Character Update at EPCOT

At each Walt Disney World Park, guests can meet with Mickey Mouse. Can you honestly say you visited a Disney Park without meeting Mickey Mouse at least once?

Many Guests may not be aware that you can meet Mickey Mouse at EPCOT at the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival. This location is just to the left of the Journey into Imagination with Figment attraction. See why this is one of the best places to meet Mickey Mouse HERE.

Right next to this location is a special meeting location for Mickey Mouse for Disney Visa Cardmembers. Card members must present their card to join the queue for this special character interaction.

Previously, you could meet either Mickey Mouse and Goofy or Minnie Mouse and Pluto in their 50th-anniversary costumes. Many guests hoped that they may make the switch to the platinum 100 Years of Wonder costumes at this location.

Today, while at EPCOT we stopped in to see our favorite pals. Minnie Mouse and Pluto greeted us in their classic outfits.

This isn’t quite the update that we were hoping for, but this is still a fun interaction with characters for select guests. We can’t wait to see Mickey and his pals in their 100th outfits very soon.

At the Disney Visa Cardmember Experience at EPCOT Minnie Mouse & Pluto and Mickey Mouse & Goofy are now in their classic outfits.
