My Food Choices and Review
When I visited this booth, I got the Chicken and Waffles, Pollinator Flatbread, and the Honey-Peach Cobbler Freeze with blueberry vodka and streusel.
Let’s start with the chicken and waffles – these came out hot! The dish isn’t super photogenic, but as long as it is delicious I am a happy person. This chicken had a wonderful crunchy coating that made for the perfect contrast to the soft and slightly sweet waffle.
The chicken was moist and tender. My favorite part of this dish was the spicy honey over the top. The only thing this dish could improve on would be to have more of the spicy honey!
The next item I tried was the Pollinator Flatbread. This could be my favorite item of the entire festival. This item is large enough to fill you up for lunch or perfect for sharing. It is cut into six slices so very easy to share!
This flatbread is light, so no worries trying to eat this on those hot Florida afternoons. It blends the perfect amount of sweet with the honey whipped mascarpone, goat cheese, and vinaigrette with the savory prosciutto.
The last item I tried was the Honey-Peach Cobbler Freeze with blueberry vodka and streusel. This is probably my least favorite item of the entire festival. The streusel topping was delicious, but the drink itself didn’t offer much. I felt like it was a strong pour, which I do want to taste. However, I felt that it was not a very flavorful drink and felt obligated to finish it.
Overall, this booth has many delicious items. Even though I did not prefer the drink, maybe somebody else will!
