This positive change is a welcome one!
Online Check In
One of the many ways you can make your Disney vacation a little easier is by using online check in. You are able to put in your room requests and share any additional needs in regards to your stay.
For those sailing on Disney Cruise Line, check in is essential for your cruise. In fact, you must check in online or you will not be able to sail! Disney needs to have this information on file along with your travel plans, port arrival time, and confirmation of contract.
After you have checked in, you will be able to book all the extras like port adventures, adult dining, and more!
Changes for Online Check In
Beginning today, May 1, online check in has changed from 30 days prior to sailing to Castaway Club status level. Here is the new schedule:
- Concierge and Pearl – 40 days
- Platinum – 38 days
- Gold – 35 days
- Silver – 33 days
- All new cruises – 30 days
What You Need to Check In
You can use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or log in to your account on the Disney Cruise Line website to begin check-in. You will need your citizenship documentation, credit card information, and a photo of each member of your travel party for their security photo. Photos need to be in JPEG format and taken from the shoulders up against a plain background. Please remove hats and glasses for the photo.
Once you have entered all of the required information, including registering any youth in your party for the youth activity clubs, you will be able to select a Port Arrival Time. As you conclude the check-in process, you will receive an Online Check-In Port Arrival Form. This form will need to be presented when you arrive at the port. You will also need to have your citizenship documentation handy to present at the port.
For your online check-in, your status will be listed as pending until all information has been reviewed and approved. If your status is still pending five days before you set sail, please call Disney Cruise Line for assistance.
