As we inch closer to the release of Haunted Mansion, Disney is sharing closer looks at the movie. The latest trailer looks so good! Watch it here.
Haunted Mansion Movie
Welcome, Foolish Mortals! You may recall that back in 2020, we found out that Disney had plans for a new live-action Haunted Mansion Movie.
We already learned that the film will have a star-studded cast including Owen Wilson, Tiffany Haddish, Rosario Dawson, and Danny DeVito! Best of all, Jarod Leto is playing the Hatbox Ghost. Additionally, Jamie Lee Curtis will play Madame Leota.
The general idea surrounding the new movie is that a single mom has moved into a new home only to find it inhabited by Happy Haunts! So, naturally, she hires a tour guide, a psychic, a priest, and a historian to help rid her mansion of the ghostly residents (as one does).
Don’t forget that the Haunted Mansion movie will debut soon! You can catch it in theaters on July 28, 2023. Check the rating first to make sure it is appropriate for everyone in your family.
Official Poster and Trailer
In the photo above is the official movie poster. You see all the characters around the crystal ball with the mansion inside.
Disney continues to grow excitement and anticipation for this live-action movie with new sneak peeks and trailers. As we inch closer to the release date, Disney gives us more of what we want: the official video trailer!
The 2-minute trailer starts with a terrifying look at Constance Hatchaway, better known as the Black Widow bride. We also see the Duelists, Hatbox Ghost, and Jamie Lee Curtis as Madame Leota. I recognized so many of the scenes taken from the attraction.
This reminds me a lot of Pirates of the Caribbean in that there is a lot of action with some humor mixed in. See the trailer here:
What do you think of the trailer? Will you be seeing the movie in theaters? Let us know in the comments below! Do you know someone who also is interested in the movie? Pass this post along to them so they can watch the official trailer, too.
