Many savvy Disney goers know that single-rider lines are a fantastic time saver. Now one more attraction has the Single Rider Line to save you time in the magic.

There are a number of popular Disney attractions that offer Single Rider Lines. For those who are new to the concept, a Single Rider Line is a special line for those who are traveling solo or who don’t mind splitting up with the rest of their party to experience an attraction by themselves or potentially with strangers.

Basically, when Cast Members are loading the ride and have one seat available here and there where the parties didn’t quite fill up a ride, Single Riders get squeezed into those remaining seats. This helps to maximize the ride’s capacity. Typically, the Single Rider Line is much shorter than the regular standby queue, which means less waiting around in line! Better yet, since it fills up the ride’s capacity, it makes things a teeny bit more efficient for everyone.

One thing to know about the Single Rider Line is that if your entire party decides to use it, you and your party will be split up. You will likely end up in different ride vehicles. There may be quite a lag between when party members get to experience the attraction. In other words, it is not a loophole for getting you and your entire travel party on the ride together more quickly. Therefore, if several people in your party are utilizing the line, you will want to have a plan for where to meet up afterward, especially if you have children along.

This benefit is available on Disney attractions from coast to coast such as Disney World’s Test Track, Expedition Everest, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. In Disneyland, it is available on attractions such as Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, Splash Mountain, Incredicoaster, and more! Now Disney is adding to that list.
