The restaurant itself will remain open, but part of it will close for refurbishment.
Dreaded Word: Refurbishment
Refurbishments are a part of life at Walt Disney World. It’s not uncommon for at least one attraction to be closed at any given time. Restaurants, hotels, and other areas of the property also need freshened up for optimal guest enjoyment.
Refurbishments may take place for various reasons. Whether it be for mechanical issues or cosmetic updates, a refurbishment can take place for many reasons. Based on the nature of the work, the refurbishment may be a few days or several months.

Biergarten Restaurant at Epcot
Located in the Germany Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase, Biergarten offers an authentic German meal and atmosphere. The Germany Pavilion is one of my favorite pavilions. Imagineers did a terrific job channeling the charming village square vibe.
Once you step inside Biergarten you are immediately transported to Oktoberfest. It resembles the outdoor festival with a moon, village architecture, and Biergarten-style tables.
Check out these reviews of Biergarten HERE and HERE.
Dance Floor
Biergarten’s dance floor will temporarily close for refurbishment. But great news: Guests can still eat at the restaurant! That is great news for Guests with dining plans during this time. Unfortunately, that means no dancing will be available.
From July 17 to July 28, the dance floor at Biergarten Restaurant will be closed for refurbishment. The restaurant will remain open, and live music will still be available for your enjoyment.
The refurbishment will take place July 17 to July 28.
