It is not unusual for Walt Disney World restaurants to receive menu updates. This is especially true for restaurants that use seasonal items in their preparations. After all, to give diners the best experience, restaurants must use the best ingredients.

This also occurs during shortages and recalls. For example, peanut butter was missing from the menus for a while during the peanut butter recall. Lobster vanished from many Disney menus at one point. We even noticed that chicken tenders replaced everyone’s favorite chicken nuggies for a time.

Additionally, a bigger motivator is cost savings. For example, Disney used to include crab legs as part of Cape May’s buffet offering. However, now they come only at an upcharge. Likewise, Topolino’s used to allow Guests to order multiple entrees. However, now that fun option has also come to an end.

Moreover, some changes make no sense to anyone such as NOODLEGATE (which of course was the time that ‘Ohana reopened and took their iconic noodles off the menu). Don’t worry. The ‘Ohana Noodles story has a happy ending!

BUT, not all changes are bad. In fact, some are certainly welcome!

Now, it is a very popular Disney restaurant’s turn for an update. Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant is a delightful restaurant located in Disney Springs. In terms of coverage, this restaurant really doesn’t get enough hype for its delicious food. It is often overshadowed by talk of the lively Irish entertainment such as live vocal performances and traditional dancing.

But, locals and frequent visitors know that you can get some amazing food at Raglan Road to accompany the entertainment. Overall, is a truly unique experience. Now, the experience is evolving with a menu update.

At a glance, the Summer Lunch Menu seems to be a “best of the best” situation that pulls items from various breakfast, bruch, savory, and entree options to create a nice concise lunch menu. Did your favorite items make the cut?

Best of all, most of the price points for the Lunch Plate items on the menu shared on Raglan Road’s Instagram are LOWER than what is listed on the recent menus on Disney’s website. Certainly, that is a surprising change everyone can enjoy!

Of course, it is possible the portions have been adjusted to be lunch-sized. That remains to be seen. Either way, it would be refreshing to pay less for less instead of more for less, which has been a bit of a trend as of late.

Will your favorite Raglan Road menu items be avaliable on the new Lunch Plates menu? Let us know in the comments? Also, as always, feel free to share this news with anyone who may appreciate it.
