Flight of Passage is having technical issues right now

This will certainly make your day more complicated if you want to ride Flight of Passage.

It is no secret that Avatar Flight of Passage is one of Walt Disney World’s most popular rides. Though the ride opened years ago within the magical World of Pandora, it remains a headliner and attracts high wait times.

It is so popular and well-loved that when Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance took Hollywood Studios by storm, Flight of Passage fans remained steadfast. Many claim it is still the best ride in Walt Disney World, even compared with newcomers like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and TRON.

Flight of Passage remains one of Disney World’s most popular attractions.

My Disney Experience issues

Unfortunately, the attraction is having issues today. Not in the sense that the ride is down in the park, but it is having issues within the My Disney Experience (MDE) app.

First, it is not searchable in the app using the search function. Second, it is not showing up when you view the map of the park – including wait times.

What’s even worse is that Flight of Passage is not showing in the Genie portion of the app. This means you cannot see wait times or book an Individual Lightning Lane for the ride in the app. If you are hoping to skip the standby line (however long that is right now, we cannot see it!) you will need to head to Guest Relations in the park or potentially call.

And, yes, my app is up-to-date and no updates are available!

Hopefully Disney tech will have this issue resolved soon. However, if you are heading to Animal Kingdom today, June 13, be aware you may need to add a few extra steps if you want to ride Flight of Passage.
