We spotted one of our favorite characters today! Find out who will be greeting guests soon at Walt Disney World.
Character Sightings
Some guests visit Disney Parks for attractions and entertainment. One thing that sets Disney apart from other amusement parks is the ability to meet so many of our favorite characters.
There is nothing quite like meeting your favorite Disney and Pixar characters while at the Disney Parks. Of course, meeting classics such as Mickey and his pals and the princesses is great, but there is something magical about meeting rare characters.
At times, guests can enjoy rare characters for a limited time such as during Earth Day celebrations and for runDisney events.
Character Training
Those who subscribe to Character Locator know that you can meet some pretty rare and amazing characters at EPCOT. The information for both schedules and locations is only available on Character Locator, and this is a great app for locating your favorite Disney characters.
Guests can see characters as they train to interact with guests at all 4 Walt Disney World theme parks. We saw this earlier as Mirabel greeted guests back in February. Not long after Disney announced that Mirabel would have an official meet and greet coming soon to Magic Kingdom.
Today as we visited EPCOT, we spotted Flynn Rider from Tangled. This is a brief, unscheduled meeting that does not appear on the My Disney Experience app. Guests could take quick photos and interact with him as he ventured through EPCOT.
It appears that he is training to join Rapunzel for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party starting this August. We have also heard that Jack Skellington and Sally have been spotted at EPCOT training for the Halloween party as well.
Be sure to check out this fun interaction below:
We can’t wait to be able to see Flynn Rider once again. These character training opportunities are such a magical surprise for guests visiting EPCOT.
Flynn Rider is now interacting with guests at EPCOT.
