The new 1970’s Disney 100 Decades Collection is totally groovy

The Disney 100 Decades collection gets better with each set released! Take a look at the newest collection and see when you can purchase it.

Decades Collection

This year, shopDisney introduced a new limited series called the Disney100 Decades Collection. It celebrates a different decade each month, starting with the 1920s and ending with the 2010s!

The site introduced the collection with the following quote: “Join us on a magical journey through the years as we celebrate the Decades of Disney with iconic and much-loved characters from the past 100 years.”

Previous Sets

The first part of the collection took us back to the 1920s when it was all started with a mouse. The 20s Collection celebrates the 1928 premiere of Steamboat Willie celebrating the early version of Mickey Mouse. Read about the 1920’s collection HERE.

Next, the 30s Collection brought us a Loungefly featuring The Band Concert. Mickey is looking adorable in his colorful conductor outfit.

The 1930s nostalgia wowed us even more! These surprises include Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Disney’s first-ever full-length feature animated film.

Then, Disney celebrates the introduction of iconic characters & unforgettable stories from the 1940s including Fantasia, The Three Caballeros, Dumbo & more.

And the 1950s collection is so fun! With this set, you’ll find a Cinderella Loungefly, 20,000 Leagues under the Sea headband ears, the Shaggy Dog plush, and a beautiful Alice in Wonderland MagicBand+.

Finally, the 1960s collection features a 101 Dalmatians Loungefly, Jungle Book headband ears, and a Merlin and Mad Madam Mim plush set from The Sword and the Stone.

1970s Set

Today, shopDisney released a preview of the upcoming Decades 100 1970s set. If you love the classic Muppets, then this may be the Loungefly for you! Other popular 1970s movies include The Aristocats, Bedsticks and Broomsticks, The Rescuers, and Pete’s Dragon.

The 1970s set will release on shopDisney on July 17 at 8:00am PST. Other sets have also been available at The Big Top Souvenirs Shop so hopefully this one will be there too!
