Boat transportation has been down for a few weeks now, but we have an update to share!
Boat Transportation
Select resorts in the Disney Springs Resort Area can enjoy a complimentary water taxi to Disney Springs. This includes the following Disney Resorts: Disney’s Old Key West, Disney’s Saratoga Springs, Disney’s Port Orleans- Riverside, and also Disney Port Orleans- French Quarter.
Check out each of the available routes based on flag colors:
- Purple flag route from French Quarter Resort to Disney Springs Marketplace
- Yellow flag route between Riverside Resort and Disney Springs Marketplace
- Blue flag route runs from Saratoga Springs Resort and Tree Houses to Disney Springs Marketplace, then to Disney Springs Landing.
- Red flag route travels from Disney Springs Marketplace and back to Disney Springs Landing.

Disney World and the surrounding area has been suffering from a very dry year so far. Earlier this spring, guests visiting Walt Disney World were notified of a “Burn Ban” in effect. When the local drought index meets or exceeds 500, Orange County automatically institutes a burn ban.
This ban was lifted, but later water recreational activities were closed due to low water levels. In addition, earlier this month Disney could not transport Guests back and forth from Disney Springs due to low water levels. For many weeks now, Gusts have had to use alternate transportation.
Update
We are happy to share that water levels are back to normal, and boat transportation to Disney Springs has just resumed today, June 22! This is wonderful news for those staying at a Disney Springs resort who want to use the boats.
Boat transportation has resumed to and from Disney Springs!

Great. Now do the CR/WL/FW launch. Maybe then - Disney- you would not have to be discounting CR to about 350 a night this summer
