NEW: Disney World Reservation System is UNAVAILABLE

Some technical issues are causing problems for the Disney World system. See the details here.

Dining and other reservations are a necessity for most Disney World vacations. Unless you can score walk-up availability at restaurants and other places like the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or Harmony Barber Shop, you need to make reservations.

These can be made 60 days in advance of your trip. Having them ready to go weeks in advance can help ease your mind about your vacation and allow you to plan your days out accordingly.

In addition, park reservations have been required for all four theme parks. Although Disney makes more park passes available at times, it’s a good idea to secure them as soon as you book your vacation. This is especially important during busier times of the year.

Unfortunately, some technical issues have made it impossible to book these reservations. A notification reads:

At this time, we are unable to make new dining reservations or Enchanting Extras Collection bookings online or over the phone. We apologize for the inconvenience.

When we try to access the park pass page the following message reads:

We apologize for the temporary inconvenience, but the site is not currently available. Please check back in a few minutes.

The Disney World reservation system is currently down at the time of writing.

For how long?

Sometimes Disney will notify Guests of upcoming planned outages. However, we have not seen any such notices. We are unsure what is causing the system to experience downtime or when it will resume. If you have been trying to make reservations today, be patient and check back often!
