Big Price Increase Hits This Returning Experience At Disney World

There is so much to see and explore throughout Walt Disney World. Many guests enjoy adding a few “Enchanting Extras” to their time in the Disney Parks. From special tours, reserved seating for entertainment, and even a special photo session inside the magic, there are many great ways for guests to enjoy the Disney Parks.

My (Donna) favorite nighttime entertainment is Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom. This brilliant display returned in April 2023, and many guests loved its return. There are special parties to enjoy Happily Ever After. Be sure to check out these special parties HERE.

Return Date

In September 2021, guests could enjoy a special view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Seven Seas Lagoon. The Ferrytale Desert and Fireworks Cruise allows guests to board a Disney ferryboat and enjoy a great spread. 

This includes “a stellar selection of bite-size signature treats, from KABOOM! Cupcakes and Rocket Burst Popcorn Push-Ups to Red Velvet Wow! Pie and Grand Finale Key Lime Tarts. You can even Build Your Own Mousse. All this alongside a bevy of specialty drinks—either with or without alcohol—themed to the sparkling, shooting stars of the fireworks.”

Originally this was set to reopen on July 5th, but currently, reservations are only available starting on Wednesdays and Saturdays in July. This new schedule begins on July 12th.

Big Price Increase

Guests hoping to enjoy this experience will want to note that this now has a big price increase. Previously this experience was $99 for adults and $69 for children (ages 3-9.) Now the pricing is $130 for adults and $100 for children.

This is quite a big jump from the previous pricing from March of this year. From the description provided by Disney, it appears that the Ferrytale Dessert and Fireworks Cruise will offer the same amenities as before but with a much higher price tag.
