With a new price tier in place, check out this newest pricing.
Disney Genie+
When Genie+ first debuted, pricing was set at $15 at Disney World. However, last fall Disney introduced variable pricing. With date-based theme park ticket pricing and Disney’s announcement that Guests could no longer purchase Genie+ in advance, variable pricing came as little surprise.
In doing so, it allowed Disney to control pricing based on demand. This newest change even allows Disney to control pricing based on demand in each park. That’s right – Disney announced last week that Genie+ pricing would vary between parks! Read the full story HERE.
Yesterday marked the first day of this new price tier model, and Disney guests were quite divided on this new change.
Lower Prices Revealed
As we try to get on board with this new pricing tier, we have a welcome sign that this may not be the worst change to happen to Disney Genie+. Yesterday, June 27th, the new pricing tier was as follows:
- Multiple parks: $27
- Magic Kingdom: $27
- EPCOT: $18
- Hollywood Studios: $24
- Animal Kingdom: $16
Many Disney guests cringed to see what the second day of this pricing model may bring. Thankfully we see a price change but for the better. Check out the Disney Genie+ pricing for today, June 28, 2023:
- Multiple parks: $25
- Magic Kingdom: $25
- EPCOT: $18
- Hollywood Studios: $22
- Animal Kingdom: $16
This is great news for guests visiting Walt Disney World today and also for guests with upcoming trips. Although EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom stayed the same, this is a nice price reduction for Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and for the multiple park/park hopping option.
New lower prices are offered today, June 28th, for Disney Genie+.
What do you think of this new pricing tier? Do you think pricing may drop even lower in the future? Will this change your decision to purchase Disney Genie+ during your next trip to Walt Disney World? Share your thoughts with us and share this great news with a fellow Disney pal.

That's still very expensive, and those of us who visit MK the most, are paying top price. The whole thing still stinks. We've never purchased and never will, especially at these prices

What happens when the park reservation system goes away next year? Right now they kind of have an idea of what demand is going to be based on the park reservations.
