The military is showing off this Fourth of July holiday and you need to see when you can catch this one-of-a-kind show.
Celebrate America
Fourth of July is a time for patriotic celebrations across the United States, and the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will commemorate the holiday with exciting fanfare. Star-spangled spectaculars are a time-honored tradition across the resort, reflecting Walt Disney’s deep love of America and faith in the nation’s future.
At the Magic Kingdom, “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” nighttime spectacular with booming fireworks lighting up the sky and orchestrated to patriotic melodies will take place July 3 and July 4 at 9:20 p.m.
Guests at EPCOT can watch, “EPCOT Forever”. The limited-time spectacle of fireworks, lasers, lighting and special effects, show will include a patriotic Fourth of July grand finale – “Heartbeat of Freedom” at 9:00pm on July 4.
Festivities
In addition, Walt Disney World guests can dazzle their taste buds with patriotic bites and sips in honor of the nation’s birthday for a limited time.
As in previous years, the A cappella vocal group Voices of Liberty will perform numbers from the American song book beneath the rotunda in The American Adventure at EPCOT.
You can also expect to see some of your favorite Disney pals wearing their “Spirit of ’76” attire and meet with guests throughout the day at The American Adventure.
Flyover
For this Fourth of July, the U.S. Air Force is scheduled to conduct a special military flyover of Disney World’s Magic Kingdom at approximately 10:30 a.m. (weather permitting), honoring 100 years of aerial refueling excellence.
The flyover will include one KC-135 ‘Stratotanker’ flown by the 91st Air Refueling Squadron based at MacDill Air Force Base. It will be joined by several F-35 Lightning II stealth aircraft flown by the 33rd Fighter Wing based at Eglin Air Force Base.
This Fourth of July, the U.S. Air Force is scheduled to conduct a special military flyover of Disney World’s Magic Kingdom park at approximately 10:30 a.m.
