One Disney Park has already sold out for the holiday. Will this affect any of your plans?
Fourth of July
Even though the parks have been pretty quiet over the weekend, Disney expects crowds to fill in for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday. To see all of the festivities for the upcoming holiday, take a look at this post HERE. The Fourth of July is a popular time to visit Walt Disney World with their fantastic firework displays. Be aware that some resorts have put restrictions in place for viewing fireworks.
On top of all of the patriotic festivities, guests will also be treated to a special flyover. Read more details about this opportunity HERE.
Park Passes
Park passes are Disney’s way of maintaining capacity limits in the theme parks. Guests must have a valid ticket in order to create a park pass, which is basically your reservation for one of the theme parks on any given day.
Even though these park passes will be going away next year, park passes are still required to enter a theme park through January 8, 2024. Annual Passholders can visit theme parks anytime after 2 pm without a park reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at the Magic Kingdom.
Sold Out
Magic Kingdom has now completely sold out for the Fourth of July holiday. There is currently no availability for Annual Passholders OR regular ticket holders and hotel guests. If you are hoping to visit the Magic Kingdom this day, your best bet will be to park hop. Disney has been known to replenish park passes regularly, but it is not guaranteed. However, it’s a great idea to keep checking up until the holiday in case this does occur!
Park Passes for Magic Kingdom are unavailable for all guests for the 4th of July
Park hopping will still be permitted on July 3rd and July 4th, unless capacity is reached.
