We have a full listing of where you CAN and CANNOT view fireworks this holiday week at Walt Disney World.
Independence Day at Disney World
Holidays are pretty special. The anticipation of that holiday – whether it be Christmas or Fourth of July, or anything in between – brings a special excitement to everyday life. Planning for that special day may include costume purchasing and gift giving, or it may even include adding a trip to Disney World!
Disney loves to go the extra mile during the holidays. In between the parties, decorations, and treats, they sure know how to do it right. Be sure to check out the full listing of special holiday snacks to enjoy throughout the parks HERE.
Magic Kingdom
At the Magic Kingdom, “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” nighttime spectacular with booming fireworks lighting up the sky and orchestrated to patriotic melodies will take place July 3 and July 4 at 9:20 p.m. There will also be DJs mixing tunes throughout the park.
Magic Kingdom will also offer a special military display on July 4th. You can read full details about this HERE.
EPCOT
Guests at EPCOT can watch “EPCOT Forever.” The limited-time spectacle of fireworks, lasers, lighting, and special effects, the show will include a patriotic Fourth of July grand finale – “Heartbeat of Freedom.” The show will take place at 9 p.m.
Guests visiting EPCOT can also enjoy a special patriotic display on Spaceship Earth when the sun sets. The iconic Spaceship Earth will dazzle in red, white, and blue throughout the night.
Locations Without Patriotic Fireworks
Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will not offer patriotic fireworks options. Disney Springs has signs posted that they will not offer fireworks.
Guests visiting Disney Springs are invited to enjoy Fourth of July-inspired performances at the AdventHealth Waterside Stage.
There are no fireworks offered at Disney Springs for the Fourth of July.
Resort Restrictions
Many guests like to enjoy the fireworks from outside the parks on the Resort Monorail loop. Typically this premium fireworks viewing is open to everyone and not just resort guests.
This affects fireworks select firework viewing locations at the Grand Floridan, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Disney’s Polynesian Resort. Get full details of these restrictions HERE.
We hope all readers and Disney guests have a safe and happy holiday week wherever they plan to celebrate.
