A Sold Out Day

It is July 4 in Walt Disney World, and the Magic Kingdom’s Park Passes are sold out for the day so that people can enjoy all the festivities. The fireworks are the biggest draw.

With that in mind, you would think that wait times would be staggering across the parks. However, that is not the case. Even waits in the Magic Kingdom are relatively average for a sold-out day.

What is really interesting is that even though the week of the 4th of July is historically a very crowded week, wait times for attractions across the other Walt Disney World theme parks are surprisingly low on this 4th of July.

With everyone else heading to the Magic Kingdom, many Guests at other parks are enjoying a REALLY good day! For example, at the time of writing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is experiencing a 20-30 minute wait! Tower of Terror is on a 13-minute wait, and fans know what that means: it’s a WALK-ON.

Other rides like Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway and Rock n Rollercoaster are at a low 35-minute wait. And, nothing in the park is over an hour, INCLUDING Slinky Dog Dash, which is at 50 minutes.

Wait times will fluctuate throughout the day. It will be interesting to see how long they remain low.
