EPCOT’s Journey of Water Previews are Happening Soon

Are you excited for the new Journey of Water feature that is coming to EPCOT? Previews are happening sooner than you think! See if you will be one of the very first guests to see it.

Part of EPCOT’s reimagining includes a Moana-themed walk-through attraction called Journey of Water. This immersive exploration trail will be in the heart of EPCOT’s World Nature neighborhood.

It will serve as a huge feature in this area of the park dedicated to “understanding and preserving the beauty, awe, and balance of the natural world.”

Latest Update

Disney previously shared that it will open in Fall of 2023. We were given a glimpse of the latest update just last month. To read more about the latest update for this feature at EPCOT, read this post HERE.

The attraction will walk guests through the water cycle, specifically focusing on how water cycles from our skies to our oceans and back continuously. Along the way, guests will interact with story elements from Disney’s hit film Moana. They will experience the “playfulness of water” for themselves! This sounds like an excellent way to spend a hot afternoon at EPCOT!

Cast Member Previews

One of the best parts about being a Cast Member are the fun perks that come along with it! Disney has shared that Cast Members are truly at the heart of Disney. They often reward their Cast Members with fun perks such as previews, discounts and other unique opportunities that are not offered to other guests.

Select Cast Members can preview Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana at EPCOT beginning July 25th through August 19th!

Select Cast Members will have an opportunity to sign up for previews of the Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana feature at EPCOT. Salaried Cast Members can preview the new feature from July 25th through August 19th. More Cast Member previews will likely occur during this time or sometime after.

With previews beginning in late July, it will be interesting to see if other previews will follow for other guests.
