We love Extended Evening Hours at Hollywood Studios!
Extended Evening Hours
There are three types of hotel accommodations at Disney World: deluxe, moderate, and value. I have stayed in all three types, but my favorite is deluxe. Not only will you find better room accommodations like softer beds and more space, but there are other perks as well!
The biggest advantage of a deluxe stay is Extended Evening Hours. While Early Theme Park Entry is included for all onsite Guests, Extended Evening Hours are only for deluxe and deluxe villa Guests. This “event” gives you extra time in the park after the normal operating hours have ended. Enjoy low wait times and low crowds!
Typically, Epcot is on Monday nights and Magic Kingdom is on Wednesday nights.
Hollywood Studios EEH
Hollywood Studios sporadically enters the lineup of Extended Evening Hours. It was offered for one night only in April 2022 and for a few dates in December 2022.
You can read about mine and Donna’s experience from last April in this post. We were able to complete several attractions with no wait! It really was the best night.
New Dates
It has been really random when Disney offers Extended Evening Hours at Hollywood Studios. It appears Disney is gearing up for a busy October because they just added several dates: September 30, October 5, October 11, October 19 and October 25, 2023.
Here are the attractions that will be available:
- Alien Swirling Saucers
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
- Muppet*Vision 3D
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
- Toy Story Mania!
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
You will want to make note that at this time, Rise of the Resistance is NOT available for these events. We will be sure to share if it does join the lineup of available attractions.
