Technology
If you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World or really experiencing anything that is related to Disney, be prepared to be familiar with all of their technology that is in place. This includes everything from Disney Genie+, My Disney Experience, their various websites and their streaming platform, Disney+.
We have all experienced their technology at some point or another, whether it’s just turning on a classic movie at home to watch or entering into one of the theme parks. Unfortunately, because the technology is so advanced and reaches out to so many guests, it is bound to experience some major issues.
Websites and apps are either incredibly slow or likely to crash. Sometimes we see technical glitches on the websites or even in My Disney Experience. This can make plans frustrating, especially if you are trying to enjoy your vacation. Thankfully, these issues are not permanent and Disney does their best to get things back up and running again.
Website Login
How many times have you logged into the Walt Disney World website and then received an e-mail almost instantly saying that a Login has been made to your account? This is just a level of security Disney has built into their system. Sometimes those e-mails are annoying depending on how often you login or how many accounts you have. You do not want them clogging up your inbox!
Today, it seems like Disney is streamlining the login process across all of their websites. If you login to your account, you will see the image above asking you to enter your e-mail address.
If you already have an account, you will see the image above. It says, “Good news, you already have an account.” Then you enter your password and you are logged in.
Disney has streamlined the login process for all of their various websites and streaming services.
After logging in, for the first time in forever, I (Maggie) did not receive one of those annoying e-mails alerting me about a login for my account.
This is good for all of their various websites and streaming platforms that they have available. A full list can be seen at: my.disneyaccount.com/explore.
This is a great update! Hopefully, it will streamline the login process for everyone and keep inboxes a little cleaner too.
