Why you may NOT want to attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party on this one date

Why you may NOT want to attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party on this one date

So far, this one date is not as appealing as the others. Here’s why.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is back this year, and we are so excited for it! This fan-favorite event has been on pause for the last few years, and was temporarily replaced with the After Hours Boo Bash. While that was fun, it really doesn’t even compare to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, and we are ready for the real thing!

This separate ticket event has so many fun things to offer! There is a special Halloween parade, a Hocus Pocus stage show, Halloween themed fireworks, rare character meets, trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom Park, and SO much more.

  • The Headless Horseman will ride his ghostly steed down Main Street, U.S.A. as a prelude to Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade.”
  • What’s Halloween without candy? During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, guests can go trick-or-treating at locations throughout Magic Kingdom Park.
  • Join the Sanderson Sisters during the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show at Cinderella Castle as they call upon their frightening colleagues to conjure the ultimate “Hocus Pocus” Party Potion.

  • Celebrate the season alongside favorite Disney characters as they take over the park for their favorite party of the year.
  • Overlays themed for the occasion will return to several popular Magic Kingdom attractions: Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, Pirates of the Caribbean and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.
  • The Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington, will host “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.” This can’t-miss nighttime extravaganza features projections, special effects and lighting mixed with fireworks, music and Disney characters.
  • Discover sweet and savory menu items inspired by fall flavors and the Halloween season.

Sold Out Dates So Far

Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party may be purchased online.  The event dates are:

  • August: 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29
  • September: 1, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29
  • October: 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31
  • November 1

At the time of writing Halloween night is sold out! This is almost always the first not to sell out. Additionally, August 15 is now sold out as well. This is the second night of the event and one of the cheapest nights to go.

This tells us this night is likely to be quite busy! If you already bought your tickets, don’t worry! With a sold touring plan from Character Locator you will be able to beat the crowds.

Most of these dates will eventually sell out if this year continues the same pattern as previous years. However, the August 15 date selling out so soon seems like a bit of an outlier. With the party just a few weeks away, you may want to consider buying those tickets sooner rather than later.
