Refurbishment is a dreaded word for Disney fans who will soon be visiting Disney Parks. In theory, we all understand that refurbishments are a necessary part of keeping the parks and resorts magical.

Attractions, restaurants, and amenities all close from time to time in order to keep operations running smoothly. It’s important to stay up to date on these refurbishments for your upcoming trip. You never know what may be closing!

Refurbishments at Fort Wilderness Coming to a Close!

There have been several refurbishments going on over the last few months at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. These include things such as the feature pool, which thankfully opened up sooner than expected, and the refurbishment of Trail’s End Restaurant and Crockett’s Tavern.

Disney officially shared Trail’s End and Crockett’s Tavern will reopen on July 27. According to Disney, both dining locations will have a fresh, new look that enhances the resort’s quaint charm and honors its heritage at the heart of the Walt Disney World Resort, with warm wooden furnishings, beamed ceilings, and rustic accents.

Soft Opening

Trail’s End Restaurant is having a soft opening today! This is very exciting for Guests that are currently at The Fort as this gives them another dining option.

Trail’s End Restaurant and Crockett’s tavern will officially reopen to Guests tomorrow, July 27th! I know this new menu looks delicious! I may need to head to The Fort on my next visit to try it out!
