Disney’s best form of transportation just received a transformation. Take a look at the details here and let us know what you think.
Disney World Transportation
There are so many ways to get around the Walt Disney World Resort. Take a look at the free options to get around Disney World below.
Bus service provides transportation from your resort to theme parks, water parks (with transfer at Disney Springs), and Disney Springs. Then, the Walt Disney World Monorail, one of Disney’s coolest transportation options, offers guests three lines of service with varying stops.
Disney Skyliner is one of Disney’s most popular transportation options. These gondolas take guests to and from Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT between four resorts: Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Best Way to Get Around
Last, but certainly not least, is my (Susan) favorite way to travel while visiting Disney World. Water transportation is a great way to slow down and enjoy the scenery.
Whether you are taking a ferry from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Magic Kingdom Park or even just enjoying a cruise aboard the Friendship Boats in the World Showcase Lagoon at EPCOT, boat transportation is a wonderful option!
What’s Changed
This morning, something new sailed into EPCOT. Cast members welcomed guests aboard FriendShip VIII, the first boat to debut a new color scheme featuring a dark-blue base.
This navy coloring looks so much richer than the current pastel colors and adds to their nautical theming. Even better, this color scheme is coming soon to other vessels in the fleet!

What do you think of this makeover? Do you like the navy or are you nostalgic about the current colors? Please let us know in the comments and share this post with a Disney boat loving friend.
