With Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties starting soon, Magic Kingdom is getting ready for all the spooky fun!
Halloween is Coming
Disney World is ramping up the fall festivities in a big way. Throughout the Magic Kingdom, fall decorations are emerging as the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is quickly approaching.
Everything from the buildings to character scarecrows and new merchandise help guests get in the Halloween spirit!
Photo Ops
When you look around Main Street, you’ll see adorable jack-o-lanterns everywhere! They’re on buildings, on the ground, and everywhere in between.
Be sure to stop at this iconic photo spot during the day and night. This gives an amazing shot of the castle behind the Halloween decorations. The jack-o-lanterns light up at night, too!
Don’t miss this iconic photo spot shown above.
You’ll see your first jack-o-lanterns as you enter in front of the Main Street train station as shown above.
Main Street Buildings
To get you in the festive mood, the Magic Kingdom store fronts don the tone-on-tone orange banners. Note: The Emporium is the largest Magic Kingdom shop. You’ll find most of your Halloween needs here.
Be sure to stop at the Emporium first for your Halloween needs.
Not only do the decorations pull you in, but at the Main Street Confectionery, the smells of making candy do too! Hope you get to try something here on your next trip.
Further down Main Street, you’ll spot another entrance to the Emporium. Although all the Main Street shops are connected (on the same side of the street), the magical exterior details are amazing.
Not only will you find Halloween items, but the Emporium has just about any souvenir you can think of inside this expansive shop.
Not only does Disney deck out the windows and walkways, but also City Hall also gets in on the holiday theming.
And the shops on the right side of the street (from the entrance) stock more specialized merchandise like designer purses, Pandora charms, watches, and more!
Jack-o-lantern Characters
Take this scarecrow out to the ball game because he is ready for fun! What a fun addition to Casey’s Corner found at the other end of Main Street.
And it looks like the Main Street Band has a new member! The attention to detail in each of these character-themed scarecrows is amazing.
Could the above scarecrow represent a Citizen of Main Street socialite and suffragette? The next scarecrow makes us think this may be the case.
I (Susan) miss the Citizens of Main Street so much. Hopefully, you got a chance to interact with the wonderful Mayor Weaver. Although he passed away in 2017, I absolutely love this special tribute to him.
