Refurbishment is a dreaded word for Disney fans who will soon be visiting Disney Parks. In theory, we all understand that refurbishments are necessary to keep the parks and resorts magical.

Attractions, restaurants, and amenities all close from time to time in order to keep operations running smoothly. It’s important to stay up to date on these refurbishments for your upcoming trip. You never know what may be closing!

Fort Wilderness is undergoing quite a transformation. The marina is undergoing a lot of refurbishment work. Trail’s End and Crockets Tavern recently reopened now as a quick service location. You can get a full review of their brand-new menu HERE.

Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue is still open and recently offered seats to guests walking up. This show offers great food and great entertainment if you have time to enjoy it.

Now that these dining options are reopened, another dining location will be closed for a brief refurbishment. The Chuck Wagon is a food truck that guests staying at Fort Wilderness can’t get enough of.

They offer great burgers and even a Macaroni & Cheese Burger. The menu also includes a delicious Berry Salad and great options for your young adventurers.

The operating hours for the Chuck Wagon show that it will close on August 8th and will not reopen until August 20th. Thankfully this is a rather short refurbishment. We are hoping that the menu will remain similar once they reopen.
