Exciting Boo To You Parade changes you need to know

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween brings Disney World into all the Halloween fun! With it, comes changes including the fan favorite parade.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parade

Calling all ghosts and ghouls: This experience is always a must-do! Get ready to treat yourself to an evening full of festive fun with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park began on August 11. See which dates have already sold-out HERE.

The party, which runs through November 1 on select evenings from 7 p.m. to midnight and includes new and returning spine-chilling fun you won’t want to miss. Be sure to check out the locations for characters HERE and showtimes HERE.

Boo To You Parade

My (Susan) favorite parade is Boo To You. It creates such excitement in the crowd with all of the wonderful characters and float elements. And this is the best place to see all the villains! This year, however, Disney mixed things up.

Pre-Parade

First, Powerline Max’s route is shortened. If you have your heart set on seeing him, you need to be in a specific spot on Main Street. Last year, he began the party halfway down Main Street and continued around the train station. His party exited after the fire station.

However, this year, he begins at the same place, but exits earlier. If you’re in front of the train station you’ll miss him. Now, he exits to the left after the Main Street Confectionary. Take a look at the map above to see his new route.

Character Changes

There are so many character changes to this years Boo To You parade. First, the fan favorite Sanderson Sisters were added! That’s right – now you can see Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabelle dressed up as this fun trio.

Next, there’s a new villain! Ursula joined the parade. You’ll find her gliding along with the other villains.

Foulfellow, Gideon, and Gaston are also added to the villain lineup!

And the Queen of Hearts now includes her Walking Cards. This is a fun change!

The cowboys and cowgirls are replaced by scarecrows with the Frontierland float. Goofy is added to this float in a new costume also. Chip and Dale moved from Frontierland float to the first float.

We are disappointed that the hyenas and the Incredibles are no longer in the parade.
