Do you want to catch a glimpse of the newly refreshed rooms at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn? We have a tour for you!
Refurbishments at BoardWalk
Described as a resort that evokes turn-of-the-century boardwalks in coastal cities such as Coney Island and Atlantic City, the BoardWalk Resort has a distinct theme that sets it apart from the rest. This resort has fun carnival games, exciting entertainment, and unique dining.
If you have visited Disney’s Boardwalk lately, you have probably noticed a lot of refurbishments going on. This is true for both Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and the Disney BoardWalk itself!
Disney’s BoardWalk is certainly in a period of transition right now. Just about everything in the resort is being updated. The ESPN Club is even in the process of becoming The Cake Bake Shop. Additionally, Boardwalk Deli and Carousel Coffee have opened to Guests.
Moreover, a refurbishment for Trattoria al Forno just wrapped up. It is BoardWalk’s delightful Italian restaurant, and you can read a review of it here.
Room Refurbishments
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has also seen a number of changes inside as well. For example, the resort lobby received an update!
And, it was also time for a room refresh! Note that this room update affected BoardWalk Inn, not the DVC BoardWalk Villas. Monica shared some still images of the rooms right HERE.
Better yet, Disney Parks Blog has now shared a video tour of the room updates. You can see it right here!
As you can see, Disney kept the same plaid pastel color scheme that decorated the rooms before. But, now the rooms just look like they have new life. We especially love the themed artwork featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and other favorite Disney characters strolling through iconic locations at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort!
It all looks so new and shiny! Certainly, it seems it would provide a very nice and comfortable stay!
Have you stayed in one of the updated rooms in Disney’s BoardWalk Inn? What did you think? Or, are you hoping to stay there soon? Let us know in the comments! And, feel free to pass this along if you know anyone looking for a place to stay in Walt Disney World so that they can consider it for their trip!
