If you want to make a last minute trip happen, do it now! Here is what is available for the once sold-out Galactic Starcruiser.
Galactic Starcruiser
In a shocking announcement, Disney confirmed the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser will take its final voyage September 28-30. It opened in early 2021 but has not been able to keep rooms occupied due to its high price and very specific audience.
Read more about the cancelation and what this will mean for remaining bookings in Maggie’s post HERE. We had also had a bit of fun speculating what Disney may use this space for in this post.
“Raise the bar. Try things that the guests aren’t even asking for because they don’t know to ask for that,” he says. “I know not everything’s going to work. What did work, though, is we took creativity and storytelling to a completely new level, to a level that had never existed before. … It didn’t work commercially. And so, when we realized that, you just make a call and move on.”

What is available now?
While all available cruises have been sold out since the announcement was made, we are seeing some openings! The Disney website did put a message to let Guests know openings may be come available:
As of May 26, 2023 at 4:30pm ET, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is unavailable for new bookings. However, availability may still be subject to change and a very limited number of rooms could become available for new bookings from time to time. Please continue to check the website for any updates to availability.
At the time of writing, quite a few dates at the end of this month are available: August 21, 23, 29, 31. These are the dates available for departures. As a reminder, these are similar to cruises in that you stay at the Starcruiser for the selected voyage. It is a two night experience, so availability is August 21-22, August 23-24, August 29-30, and August 31-September 1.
Four bookings are still available for the Galactic Starcruiser.
