If you are heading to Disney soon, you may be looking at different quick service options for your meals. One quick service location has now reduced their menu.
Quick Service Dining
Quick service dining at Disney is similar to ordering at a fast food restaurant. You can mobile order or order at the counter and then bring your food to a table or wherever you choose.
One of the best things about eating quick service over table service locations is flexibility. Unless you’re lucky enough to be added to the waitlist at table service locations, then you need an advance dining reservation.
Some of these locations are very popular and difficult to score. Also, there’s the added flexibility of not having to be at a dining location at a given time.
Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
Feel close to the magic by camping near the magic! Guests will take in the American frontier with all different types of wildlife including deer, rabbits, ducks and armadillos that will roam the resort. Can you believe that this resort takes up 750 acres? You can relax in the great outdoors with only being minutes from Magic Kingdom!
At Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground you will find trails, two pools and entertainment and activities of all kinds! This resort is unique as you won’t find any other resort like it at Disney. The resort opened on November 19, 1971. It consists of both campsites and cabins for guests to enjoy.

Reduced Menu at Meadow Snack Bar
Without any notice, the Meadow Snack Bar at Disneys’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground has reduced their menu. The menu used to include five entree choices, a pizza and salad section, and several adult beverage options.
The Meadow Snack Bar has removed several items from their menu, but they have also added some new entrees for Guests to enjoy!
With this new menu update several items have been removed. Some items that were removed include:
- Wilderness Dog
- All-Beef Hot Dog (wit or without chili and cheese)
- Pepperoni Pizza
- Cheese Pizza
- Barbecued Pulled Pork Sandwich
- Chocolate Cake
However, there are new additions to the menu. The new entrees are a House-Smoked Turkey Sandwich (with Cranberry Aioli, Cheddar, and Spinach), Grilled Chicken Wrap (with Blueberry Barbecue Sauce and Kale Slaw) and Roasted Vegetable Sandwich (with Tomato Chutney and Red Pepper Hummus – this is a plant based meal).
Could Disney be limiting the menu to have Guests visit the new Trail’s End that recently opened? Or could they just be trying to give Guests more options than the traditional hotdog, pulled pork sandwich or pizza that you can find at almost any quick service?
What do you think of this menu change? Are you excited to try any of these new items? Are you sad to see some of your favorites go? Let us know in the comments below and be sure to share this post with a friend who loves The Fort too!
