New Coco Sippers and Treats Are Heading to Disney

If you love Coco, you will love this. Check out not one, but TWO sippers and a preview of the treats you are in for soon!

Coco in the Disney Parks

Finally, Coco is returning to Disney Parks for a limited time to bring fans a wonderful experience! Plaza de la Familia is a limited-time offering that will arrive this fall.

Plaza de la Familia, an immersive celebration of the everlasting bonds of family and also the Spirit of Día de Los Muertos, brings the Disney and Pixar Academy Award-winning film Coco to life! As part of the celebration, Disney will present A Musical Celebration of Coco. During the show, Guests can enjoy a heartwarming tale by the entertaining Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia.

It also includes popular songs from the film Coco. Plus, you can also meet characters from the film and enjoy plenty of other festivities. Get ready because it all starts on September 1 in Disneyland. You can read more about the event HERE.

Fun Food

It is true that Disney will offer amazing souvenirs including not one, but 2 sippers and a straw clip, which you can see later in the post. Additionally, there is plenty of awesome food. What better way to celebrate the spirit of Dia de Los Muertos than with delicious Disneyland dining?

For one thing, Disney California Adventure Park will have special items at Paradise Garden Grill (Available Aug. 31 through Nov. 2). These include foods such as:

  • Chile Verde Chicken Flautas topped with avocado spread, shredded lettuce, crema, queso fresco, tomatillo salsa, and pickled onions served with Spanish rice and pinto beans (New) 
  • Tacos Estilo Callejero: Trio of sirloin beef tacos with escabèche, Spanish rice, and pinto beans
  • Carnitas Burrito: House-made pork carnitas, Spanish rice, pinto beans, and salsa verde served with house-made tortilla chips
  • Chorizo Quesadilla: Poblano, onions, and mozzarella topped with cilantro crema and served with salsa roja and escabèche (Plant-based)
  • Elote: Corn on the cob topped with crema, cotija, chili powder, and chicharron crumbles
  • Street-style Taco: One steak taco in a corn tortilla served with Spanish rice and pinto beans (Kid’s Meal) 
  • Cheese Quesadilla: Whole wheat tortilla filled with Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese (Disney Check Meal)
  • Chips with Salsa (New) 
  • Salsa Verde (New) 
  • Salsa Roja (New) 
  • Pinto Beans
  • Spanish Rice
  • Vanilla Layer Cake: Layers of vanilla cake with cinnamon mousse and sweet cream cheese frosting
  • Dos Equis Lager
  • Dos Equis Amber
  • Watermelon Candy Cocktail: Tequila, watermelon schnapps and pineapple juice with a chamoy and chile-lime seasoned rim

Finally, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will have food at Grand Californian Great Hall Cart (Available Sept. 1 through Nov. 5). It includes items such as:

  • Horchata Cookie filled with cajeta (New) 
  • Gingerbread Calavera Cookie: Gingerbread cookie with white chocolate (New) 
  • Chocolate Covered Pretzel Sticks: Pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate
  • Cookie Box: Pumpkin Mickey sugar cookie, raspberry-filled cookies, and chocolate chip cookies with chocolate candies

Best of all, Disney will also have some fun Coco souvenirs. Of course, as promised, there are 2 sippers!

First up is the Coco Skull Sipper. It includes your choice of fountain beverage at the time of purchase, or you can also order a specialty beverage for an additional charge. There is a limit of two per person, per transaction, and no discounts apply. It is available while supplies last starting Sept. 15. You can get yours at the following locations:

  • At Disneyland park: Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante
  • At Disney California Adventure park: Chiller at Paradise Gardens Park, Mortimers Market, Paradise Garden Grill, and also Outdoor Vending Carts
  • At Disneyland Hotel: The Coffee House
  • At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa: GCH Craftsman Grill

Next, you can enjoy another sipper! The Coco Souvenir Sipper includes a choice of Coca-Cola bottled beverages at the time of purchase. There is a limit of a whopping 10 per person, per transaction, and they are available while supplies last starting Sept. 15. You can find them at the following locations:

Finally, don’t sleep on this adorable addition to your drinks. Coco’s Dante Straw Clip is available with the purchase of a beverage. Here, too there is a Limit 10 per person, per transaction, and they are available while supplies last starting Sept. 1. You can find the at the following locations:

  • At Disneyland park: Churros near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pretzels near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante, and Ship to Shore Marketplace
