We love when Disney makes Genie+ easier to use! Check out this great update.
Genie+
Built on top of Genie, Genie+ is a paid feature that offers more convenience and flexibility. Here is the shortened version: for $15+ per person per day at Disney World and $20+ per person per day at Disneyland, choose the next available time to arrive at a variety of attractions and experiences using the Lightning Lane entrance.
You can choose to use the standby line instead of purchasing Genie+. In doing so, Disney is not forcing you to pay for this feature. You can make one selection at a time all throughout the day. 40+ attractions are included at Walt Disney World and 15+ attractions are available at Disneyland.

Update
Because Genie+ is still relatively new, infrequent Guests may struggle to use the service. There are a lot of new features to learn! It may be difficult to remember which attractions offer a Lightning Lane and which ones do not.
In the Tip Board section, Disney lists out all the attractions and shows available in each park. You can clearly see which ones offer a Lightning Lane and when the next return time is.
Now, however, Disney has a new feature for Genie+! If you select the option near the top of the screen to turn on “Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane” it will only show attractions and shows that use Genie+.
This is a small update, but it filters out all the non-Genie+ selections. This is incredibly useful for when you are in the Genie+ section of My Disney Experience specifically to make your next selection.
Disney now lets you filter out attractions that are not included in Genie+ on the Tip Board. This update is available on both Disney World and Disneyland apps.
What do you think of this update? Do you use the Tip Board for anything other than selecting your next Genie+ return time? Let us know in the comments below and share this post with a friend.
