We truly could not believe our eyes!
Meeting the Seven Dwarfs
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has returned again for 2023. The party officially kicked off the celebration August 11th. The party, which runs through November 1 on select evenings from 7 p.m. to midnight includes new and returning spine-chilling fun you won’t want to miss.
There is SO much to do! Be sure to check out the locations for characters HERE and showtimes HERE. You can also grab some spooky and fun Magic Shots. Plenty of exclusive party merchandise is also available, and you can see it all HERE.
One of the most popular aspects of the Halloween party is the character meets. Jack and Sally are always popular and so are our Hundred Acre Wood friends.
Returning this year is the Seven Dwarfs! They have been MIA for the last few years, and we are “happy” to see them back! Because they have just returned this year, they have an incredibly high wait time throughout the party.
Our experience
However, we had a different experience! We attended the Friday evening (September 1) party night. After meeting Pooh and his friends in their adorable party outfits right at 6:30 pm and Stitch (40 minute wait), we checked the wait time for Seven Dwarfs.
Imagine our surprise to see there was only a 45 minute wait at 7:30 pm! That wait time usually stays around 2-3 hours for the entire evening. We booked it over to Storybook Circus and headed inside Pete’s Silly Sideshow. Sure enough there were only about 20 groups waiting in line to meet them!
I think with three big meets (Jack/Sally, Hundred Acre Wood, Seven Dwarfs) the crowds are really spreading out. We chose not to meet Jack and Sally because we saw them at last year’s Christmas party, so we prioritized Hundred Acre Wood friends for the first meet.
It could have been an anomaly, but the whole point of this post is to show you it is possible to see a lower wait time throughout the party. Continue checking the wait times throughout the evening if you choose not to meet them first. We were really surprised to see this.
Have you ever caught a rare character with a low wait? Share your experience with us in the comments below, and pass this post along to a friend who is hoping to meet the Seven Dwarfs!
