Two of the treats that looked particularly appealing to me (Monica) were the Nightmare Before Christmas Cake Pops. I made sure to carve out some time into my plan to stop by and try them.

There are two Cake Pops. The Jack Pop is a chocolate fudge brownie with marshmallow filling and topped with a Jack chocolate piece. And, the Sally Pop is a yellow cake with raspberry filling topped with a Sally chocolate piece.

Both can be found at the Churro Cart near Cinderella Castle. When I stopped by around 9:00 pm during the party, I was told they were sold out at that location. Although it was unadvertised in the foodie guide Disney shared, these can also be found at the popcorn cart right outside City Hall.

Let’s start off with the Jack Pop. I love anything chocolate, so when I saw it was a chocolate fudge brownie with marshmallow I was all in.

However, I was not prepared for how rich and dense the brownie was. The flavor profile was great, but the Cake Pop itself was just too big to enjoy the whole thing without getting a stomachache. I also could not taste any marshmallow even after opening up the Cake Pop and specifically eating that piece. But, I didn’t mind that too much.

On the other hand, the Sally Pop was much better. Along with chocolate, anything lemon and fruit is a win in my book. This was much easier on my taste buds, and the raspberry flavor was noticeable.

These are both very large Cake Pops and very messy as well. You may want to prepare yourself a bit and have a fork on hand. It could really be eaten like a cake if desired. The chocolate pieces on top were held on with icing, which were also messy.

They are both priced at $5.75 and you really can’t just get one, so plan to spend the $11.50 and get both! I thought these were both great, but I would plan to share this treat with someone else or save some for later.

Have you had either of these Nightmare Before Christmas Cake Pops at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party? What did you think of them? Let us know in the comments below and share this post with a friend who may want to try them!
