Walt Disney World Resort Guests can now enjoy another attraction outside of normal park hours.
Perks for Select Guests
One perk of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort is Early Theme Park Hours. All guests utilizing this benefit can take advantage of entering the parks 30 minutes before the parks officially open.
Deluxe Resort Guests can also enjoy Extended Theme Park Hours. On select nights, guests with a valid hotel reservation at a Disney World deluxe participating resort can stay in the park for two extra hours to experience select attractions.
Many see this offering as enough of an incentive to book a stay at a deluxe resort, whether directly through Disney or through the process of renting DVC points. To participate in these extended hours, guests must be booked to stay at a deluxe resort.
This offering includes several headliner attractions at the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and soon Disney’s Animal Kingdom. While not all attractions are included as part of this offering, most of the major attractions are included.
New Attraction Added
Part of EPCOT’s reimagining includes a Moana-themed walk-through attraction called Journey of Water. This immersive exploration trail will be in the heart of EPCOT’s World Nature neighborhood.
Journey of Water will soon open to all guests. Be sure to check out the opening date and new meet and greet HERE. When this attraction finally opens to guests, it will also be available for Early Theme Park Hours and Extended Evening Hours.
This new attraction will be quite popular when it opens, and guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resorts can enjoy lower crowds during these times.
Journey of Water will be available for both Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours.
