World of Frozen prides itself as the park’s largest expansion and the world’s first Frozen-themed land that will be home to two new attractions. They will be Frozen Ever After and the first-of-its-kind Frozen-themed family-friendly roller coaster Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. In addition, guests can enjoy quick-service restaurant and other merchandise outlets.

Disney Imagineers have been hard at work on the new themed land and have guaranteed that guests will be stepping into a living and authentic Arendelle.

The company shares the land will officially open on November 20, 2023.

This roller coaster is called Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleigh. The idea behind the coaster’s ride vehicles is that Olaf and Sven are pulling them while Guests ride. Olaf dangles a carrot (his nose) to encourage Sven to ascend the lift hill and navigate all that is to come as Guests take a scenic ride through Arendelle.

But before this marvelous boat ride to Elsa’s ice palace, you’ll pass the office of Kristoff, who’s now the Official Ice Master & Deliverer, and lanterns glowing over the royal deck. We can’t wait until the gate opens this November at Hong Kong Disneyland!

The new land looks truly stunning with so many details taken straight from Norway. Look out for the fishing boat that Anna fell into and the clock tower! You can watch a close up video of this coaster (and more of World of Frozen) below.

Audio-Animatronics

Here is something Disney World fans can be jealous of: the audio-animatronics for Frozen Ever After in Hong Kong are vastly superior to the ones in Epcot. In fact, these are the most advanced all-electric audio-animatronics Disney Imagineers have created.

These are actual audio-animatronic figures, and they do not have screens projected onto the heads of Anna and Elsa. The movements are so seamless you’ll almost believe these characters are real!
