Disney’s Elemental movie breaks a HUGE record now!

Disney movies have been hit or miss lately, but this one has surprisingly broken a new record!

Disney/Pixar’s latest full-length feature Elemental tells the story elements (Fire, Water, etc.) as characters.  These characters live parallel lives, never mixing until a fiery fire character named Ember meets a splashing young water character named Wade. 

The story takes them on a journey where they find they have more in common than they ever imagined.  While Elemental got off to a slow start in theatres, it got ended up being a huge box office success!  Read more details on this story here. 

Recent Disney+ Success

Earlier this month, we shared HERE that The Little Mermaid Live-Action film was released on Disney+ on September 6.

The live-action reimagining of the studio’s Academy Award-winning animated musical starring Halle Bailey and Melissa McCarthy is the most viewed Disney movie premiere on Disney+ since Hocus Pocus 2, with 16 million views in its first five days streaming.

While The Little Mermaid surpassed expectations when it was released on Disney+, Elemental has done even better than that!

Elemental was released on Disney+ on September 13! And physical media such as DVD and Blu-Ray drops on September 26, 2023. Disney took a risk by releasing Elemental first and it paid off!

According to Disney, Elemental is the most watched movie premiere of the year on Disney+, surpassing 26.4 million views in its first 5 days of streaming!
