MEARS Transportation
Disney’s announcement that they were discontinuing free Magical Express transportation to and from the Orlando International Airport left many Guests stressed about how to get to and from their Disney Resort.
Many companies rose to the challenge, and one of the most well-known and popular options was MEARS. Consequently, MEARS was the third-party vendor hired by Disney to run the Magical Express.
Earlier this year, Mears Connect and Sunshine Flyer announced that they would be merging. This took effect on August 1, 2023. The new service is now called Mears Connect Driven by Sunshine.
New Partnership

Located at Orlando International Airport, Brightline Orlando Station offers a new connection between Orlando’s attractions and South Florida destinations. You can check out full train amenities and ticket details HERE.
To add convenience for guests Brightline and MEARS are now joining to make your next trip to Florida even easier. According to Brightline, “The Mears Transportation fleet will be incorporated into Brightline’s innovative door-to-door booking service. Brightline+, available on its mobile app and website, enables guests to easily plan and book their entire journey within one seamless transaction.”
“The new Brightline+ Shared Connect Shuttle and Luxury Private Ride powered by Mears allow guests to effortlessly extend their journey by reserving transportation to and from Orlando International Airport’s Brightline train station.”

Guests can now add MEARS to their Brightline travel plans while making reservations. For existing reservations, guests can add or modify this option for travel dates beginning October 4.
