Elemental continues to surprise us – it just broke another big record!

Disney/Pixar’s latest full-length feature Elemental tells the story of Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire as characters.  These characters live parallel lives, never mixing until a fiery fire character named Ember meets a splashing young water character named Wade. 

The story takes them on a journey where they find they have more in common than they ever imagined.  While Elemental got off to a slow start in theatres, it got ended up being a huge box office success!  Read more details on this story here.

Elemental was released on Disney+ on September 13. And physical media such as DVD and Blu-Ray dropped on September 26, 2023. Disney took a risk by releasing Elemental first and it paid off!

According to Disney, Elemental is the most watched movie premiere of the year on Disney+, surpassing 26.4 million views in its first 5 days of streaming! You can read that full story HERE.

Now, Elemental has broken another big record. It even beats out The Little Mermaid and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 for the same time period! Since September 13, the movie has been viewed more than 60 million times! That’s 60 million views in roughly 2.5 weeks. Wow!

Disney also expects to sell about 800,000 physical DVDs of Elemental worldwide, and 1.7 million people are expected to purchase the digital copy.

Elemental has been viewed on Disney+ more than 60 million times since it debuted on September 13, 2023.
