Price increases are nothing new. But, if you are visiting Disney’s theme parks, you will need to make note of the increased price in park tickets.
Price Increases
It seems that every October 11, Disney likes to play a game called “let’s raise the price on everything.” On this same exact date in 2022, Disney announced several price increases, which included park tickets, Genie+, and more.
Price increases are nothing new around Disney (or the world, in fact). It’s a part of life and part of visiting the theme parks. Disney just announced ticket increases for its theme parks.
Ticket Increases
Disneyland and California Adventure are located at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. The price of a 1-day ticket now ranges from $104 to $194 based on the day you are visiting. That means if you are visiting during a busier time, you can expect to pay more.
All increases are effective today, Wednesday, October 11.
THE PRICE OF A 1-DAY TICKET NOW RANGES FROM $104 TO $194 BASED ON THE DAY YOU ARE VISITING. THIS IS AN INCREASE OF 6-7%.
- Tier 0: $104 to $104
- Tier 1: $114 to $119
- Tier 2: $129 to $134
- Tier 3: $144 to $154
- Tier 4: $159 to $169
- Tier 5: $169 to $184
- Tier 6: $179 to $194
Of course, the price per day decreases as you purchase more days. However, even that has increased. Now those tickets are about $30-$35 more depending on how much days you purchase tickets for. Here is that pricing:
- 2-day: $285 to $310
- 3-day: $360 to $390
- 4-day: $395 to $445
- 5-day: $415 to $480
As for park hoppers, this will now cost $65 to $75 to add on to your ticket. 1-day remains the same at $65. All other tiers see an increase of $5 to $15. Park hoppers allow you to visit both parks in one day. As a reminder, park hopping is not available until 11:00 am.
