Guests participating in an After Hours event, Party, or Extended Evening Hours can stay in the park until midnight. But, it’s always fun to see park hours extended on a “regular” evening. They seem so few and far between in the last few years. See the latest updates here.
Disney World Park Hours
Our Kenny the Pirate writing team shares the latest theme park hours with you as Disney releases them. While the initial hours are a great way to begin preparing for your trip, Disney also updates the hours as dates loom near. We want to make sure that you have all the information that you need for your upcoming trip.
It is always exciting when Disney adds to its hours of operation because you can plan what to do with extra time in the parks! When park hours extend, it means your early entry times might shift! So be sure you check the schedule so that you can arrive accordingly if you wish to utilize the Early Entry benefit.
This week, we have some updated hours at TWO parks.
Animal Kingdom
October 22 to November 3: The park will open an hour earlier (8:00 am). That means Early Entry begins at 7:30. It will still close at 7:00 pm.
Then, on November 4, the previous park hours of 9:00 am to 7:00 pm are now 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. That’s an extra two hours compared to the original hours!
Magic Kingdom
The big updates come at Magic Kingdom, including our midnight closure.
October 14, 16, 21, 22, 24, 27, 29, 31 and November 1: The park now operates an hour earlier (from 9:00 am to 8:00 am). Closing hours remain the same – 11:00 for non-party nights and 6:00 pm for party nights.
October 23: Magic Kingdom will continue to open at 9:00 am, but it will close an hour later – now 11:00 pm. Then, on November 2 and 4, park hours have been adjusted. Previously, it was 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, but now it will close at 10:00 pm.
And finally, our midnight closing! This will take place on November 3. Originally, the park was supposed to close at 9:00 pm. But now it will close at 12:00 am! Yay! Enjoy those three extra hours!
