This is the ONE thing that you don’t want to miss at Disney World! Disney is kicking off National Veterans and Military Families Month early in a big way. Take a look at the details of when you can catch this amazing display before it’s gone!
Ways Disney Honors the Military
Disney World has a long history of honoring our military and armed forces. Each day you can see the touching flag ceremony at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Each day an active-duty service member or veteran can participate. You can read more about the flag ceremony HERE.
Another way Disney helps is by offering military discounts to veterans and their families for Walt Disney World and Disneyland. In addition, there is an exclusive hotel on Disney property just for families to stay called Shades of Green.
Kenny the Pirate Blog writers extend a huge “thank you” to service members and their families for the sacrifices and commitment to our country, including our editor, Monica, her husband, Cody, and their family.

During this time it may be a little louder than normal, but we hope you feel the thrill when you look to the skies.”
THE U.S. AIR FORCE THUNDERBIRDS FLIGHT DEMONSTRATION TEAM will conduct a flyover ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30 TO MARK THE ARRIVAL OF NATIONAL VETERANS AND MILITARY FAMILIES MONTH IN NOVEMBER.
