Fire Department Present At the Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom is the “Most Magical Place on Earth”, but even this magical park has unforeseen events. A popular attraction is closed with emergency personnel responding. Find out what we know so far about this closure.

Unexpected Closures

Disney fans create countdowns, book Advanced Dining Reservations, and make touring plans to prepare for their Disney vacations. Even the best-laid plans can be altered when attractions close unexpectedly.

Many times this may be due to weather, a mechanical issue, or even most recently due to a trespassing bear. Whatever the reason for the temporary closure, this can put a damper on your touring plan.

Some attractions experience more downtime than others (we’re looking at you Rise of the Resistance), but it is a good idea to have a “Plan B” if your favorite attraction is temporarily closed.

Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland is a magical place where guests both young and young at heart can live out their favorite stories and believe that anything is possible.

At “Enchanted Tales with Belle”, guests can step into the magical realm of the Beast’s Castle and entertain Belle by recreating her “Tale As Old As Time.” This evening, guests may be a bit disappointed.

The entire attraction is now evacuated. Guests can see the PhotoPass photographers from this attraction and two performers.

At this time the attraction is “Temporarily Closed.” The Reedy Creek Fire Department is present, but it is still unknown what the reason for this closure is. We hope this may be a speedy fix and guests can enjoy “Enchanted Tales with Belle” later this evening.

“Enchanted Tales with Belle” is currently closed to all guests.

What do you think of this closure? Have you experienced your favorite attraction closed or been evacuated off an attraction? Share your thoughts and share this news with your fellow Fantasyland pals.
