One of Disneyland and Disney World’s original attractions is Jungle Cruise. Located in Adventureland, Jungle Cruise is a gentle boat ride around the world! You’ll experience animals and corny jokes of all kinds!

The attraction has quite the following, and the ride even has a place in the storyline in the Society of Explorers and Adventurers.

Dr. Albert Falls invented the Jungle Navigation Company in 1911. When the Great Depression hit, his granddaughter, Alberta Falls, decided to switch gears and take tourists on an exotic cruise around the world!

The ride is incredibly popular. Wait times can reach an hour or more on busy days. And, it’s changing in just a few days.

The hilarious Magic Kingdom ride gets a complete makeover every year. The overlay receives festive decorations, jolly jokes, and special seasonal touches that make it unique. The idea is that the skippers get homesick for the holidays, and Guests set out on a new adventure.

Jingle Cruise runs every November to January so make sure you put it on your Character Locator itinerary. You don’t want to miss the holiday version of this attraction! It feels like a whole new ride with all the changes.
