Disney Announces the Launch Date for New Partnership

Recently, Disney has been scrambling to improve their bottom line. While they’ve announced park expansions, purchasing entertainment, and more, they’re moving into a new arena now. Read details and let us know if you agree with this move.

Disney Entertainment includes the company’s portfolio of entertainment media and content businesses globally, including streaming services. Their brand includes Pixar, Marvel, LucasFilm, ABC, FX, Hulu, National Geographic, and more.

Disney also owns ESPN and its subsidiaries, including international sports channels. Recently, The Walt Disney Company announced it would purchase Hulu from Comcast. Take a look at details HERE.

Viewers can place bets through ESPN’s mobile app and website. You can see in the photo above there is a space for it on the ESPN mobile website. It’s not active yet though, but it will be soon.

ESPN BET will launch in the following 17 states: Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia on November 14, 2023.

Pitaro previously stated that the company would likely partner with an existing sportsbook rather than create one of its own. He said that the decision would be one that works for ESPN as well as the Walt Disney Company as a whole.
