Magic Kingdom park passes are a little harder to come by for select Guests. See what’s available (and what’s not) for this upcoming holiday season.
Park Passes
Since the phased reopening of the theme parks, park reservations have been required for all theme parks here in the United States. In addition to a theme park ticket, a reservation is also required to gain entry.
Although Disney makes more park passes available at times, it’s a good idea to secure them as soon as you book your vacation. This is especially important during busier times of the year, as we will see below.
Disney World will no longer require park passes for date-based tickets beginning in 2024. You can read that story HERE. Unfortunately, Annual Passholders and Guests who do not have date-based tickets (like service members using the Salute discount) will still need to make reservations.
Magic Kingdom
Unfortunately, some Guests are finding out they cannot make park passes for Magic Kingdom. Why? Because some dates are already booked up!
Annual Passholders are currently not able to make park passes for Magic Kingdom on Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11. Veteran’s Day is historically always a very busy holiday weekend.
At this time, the rest of November and December are open. As we move closer to bigger dates like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, we may see more dates and parks continue to book up.
Fortunately, regular ticket holders and Resort Guests still have a completely green calendar. It’s always a wise idea to book your park passes as soon as you are able.
