Are you excited for the return of the Disney Dining Plan? Disney issues a new update for guests. How will this affect your next trip to Walt Disney World?
Disney Dining Plan
Since Walt Disney World closed in 2020, many things changed. For several years Disney guests have wishfully hoped for the return of the Disney Dining Plan.
Many guests enjoy a certain number of prepaid meals and snacks during their stay to make their vacation feel more “all-inclusive”. Enjoy your vacation and spend less time on meal budgeting while you’re here.
Disney has made a few modifications to the new Disney Dining Plan and will resume on January 9, 2024. You can read more about calculating if the Dining Plan will be “worth it” in this post and find all participating restaurants.
Dining Packages
At select locations throughout Walt Disney World, guests can purchase a Dining Package. This allows guests to pay a fixed price for a meal while also securing private seating for select entertainment.
Over at Disneys’ Hollywood Studios, guests can book a Fantasmic! Dining Package at:
- 50s Prime Time Cafe
- Hollywood and Vine
- Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano
- Sci-fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant
- The Hollywood Brown Derby
Be sure to check out Maggie’s full review of the Sci-Fi Dine in Theatre Dining Package HERE. For guests using the Disney Dining Plan, Fantasmic! Dining Packages are available for 1 Table-Service Meal at 50s Prime Time Cafe, Hollywood and Vine, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, and Sci-fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.
The Hollywood Brown Derby Fantasmic! Dining Package will be 2-Table Service Meals for each person. I would highly recommend advance dining reservations for dining packages.
The Hollywood Brown Derby Fantasmic! Dining Package will be 2-Table Service Meals for each person.
Guests can make reservations up to 60 days in advance or for the entire length of their stay (for up to a 10-night stay) for those guests with a valid Disney Resort Hotel reservation.
