We can’t say we didn’t see this coming. The release dates for multiple Marvel movies have been revised. Here is when you can see what’s next for MCU.
Delays Everywhere
Sometimes things get shaken up a bit in Hollywood. While current events such as the Writer’s Strike and the SAG-AFTRA strike have not been specifically cited as reasons for so many delays, it would not be surprising if they were part of the reasoning.
Pixar announced movie delays last month. Delays have also affected the upcoming Live Action Snow White Movie. Now Marvel has delays to announce. So far four movies have new release dates.
Marvel Movie Delays
First up is everyone’s favorite anti-hero. Deadpool 3 was recently set to launch on May 3, 2024 (after it changed from an even earlier date). However, it will be delayed until July 26, 2024.
Not only did Captain America receive a new title, but it also received a new date! Captain America: Brave New World hits theatres for Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14, 2025. It was previously set for July 25, 2025.
Thunderbolts is filling that July 25, 2025 spot. It used to be slated for Dec. 20, 2024.
Since Captain America is taking the Feb 14, 2025 spot, another movie had to be redistributed. So, Blade is moving to Nov. 7, 2025.
As of now, Fantastic 4 has no changes and will come to theatres on May 2, 2025.
Now, that doesn’t mean that the dates are set in stone, of course. After all, you never know when someone will get ahold of a Cosmic Generator and set things off course again. In any case, that is the truth as we currently know it. We will keep you updated should anything change.
